The Project

Verya Duet is the newest project of Baldur’s Gate 3 soundtrack vocalist Mariya Anastasova and the bulgarian harpist Ivayla Todorova. They combine different music genres like film and game soundtrack, classical music and worldwide folklore music in order to create a unique blend between the past and present on stage.

Some of their most popular covers are from games like: The Witcher 3, Baldur's Gate 3, Skyrim etc. The duo made their debut back in the summer of 2024 and ever since then they have been concerting all over Bulgaria. Among some of their most successful concerts are: “Hive summit” art stage where they were invited to represent the award winning composer Borislav Slavov; LARP ball based on the world of “The Fog” by Mystic Gatherings; charity concert dedicated to young bulgarian game creators alongside TDB Gaming and more. At the end of 2025 they released their first official licensed covers on tracks from The Witcher 3: Lullaby of Woe; Gauter O’Dimm and Priscilla’s song.

Mariya Anastasowa

Mariya is one of the lead vocalists in the award winning game “Baldur’s Gate 3”, there she sings the infamous song “Down by the river”, known for the character creation process in the game, she also sings the epic protagonists Raphael’s song “Raphael’s final act” alongside Andrew Wincott and the iconic bardic song “Song of Balduran”, the faerie song “Who are you” and the enchanting “Harpy song”.

Outside the magical world of Baldur’s Gate, Mariya is a vocalist in a number of soundtracks, films and musical theater. She plays lead roles on the stages of State Opera Plovdiv and Varna, among which the musical “The beauty and the beast”, “My Fair Lady”, "The Addams Family" and others.

Ivayla Todorova

Ivayla is a professional classical harpist and a soundtrack harpist. As a graduate of the National Music School “L. Pipkov” in the harp class of PhD. Kohar Andonyan, she has performed on various stages and festivals from all across Europe and the Balkans. She has won a plethora of international harp competitions and has participated in masterclasses with professors from across the world.

Ivayla continues her classical education in the National Academy of Music “P. Vladigerov”, while also building her career in orchestras such as the symphony orchestra of State Opera Stara Zagora with which she toured The Netherlands and Germany and being part of different musical projects alongside her soloist career. In the summer of 2024 Ivayla, alongside Mariya, created the project “Verya Duet”.
